Nate
The staff at Western Appraisers of Sacramento are qualified appraisers who have experience working with various insurance companies nationwide. You will be pleased to know that we are highly experienced in the trucking industry enabling us to provide accurate appraisal services for your insurance claim. Our experts, Woody Crandall and two of his sons, Joe and Nate, have the knowledge and skills to provide you with the most accurate damage claim possible.

Woody has been in the heavy duty truck and trailer repair industry since 1976 as a repair technician, shop foreman and shop manager. He was an employee of Western Appraisers for three years before buying the business from the original owner in 2007. Today he is sharing his knowledge and experience with Joe and Nate, his two youngest sons.

Joe has been around this industry since he could pick up a wrench, giving him practical knowledge and real world experience. He started as Woody’s apprentice right out of high school. Seven years later he is now a qualified appraiser.

Nate also grew up around trucks, trailers and cars. He loved to tinker with small engines as a kid, leading him to attend Universal Technical Institute (UTI), graduating in 2008. While attending UTI, Nate also worked with Woody doing research to support the appraisal process. Upon graduation, Nate moved to Southern California and continued to work in the automotive industry. In 2014, Nate began the Southern California location. With a desire to return to Northern California, he relocated his family and now works with dad and brother out of the Sacramento location.
